It feels like something is crawling on top of my skin, but I don't see anything there...and the feeling is ONLY at nights...is it bad nerves or tiny pests only seen by a microscope that are just trying to drive me crazy?
A crawly feeling on your skin is often associated with intestinal parasites. I can't say for sure if that is the case in your situation, but it is one of the most common causes.
Other causes include hormonal imbalance, stress/anxiety, and in some cases, microscopic bugs.
If you are not being "bitten" and seeing a rash, I would tend to believe it is NOT external parasites, but rather internal issues.
How are your bowels functioning? Any constipation, gas, bloating, etc.? These are other signs that may help you determine the underlying cause.
The two options I would most highly suggest in your situation would be cleansing and/or building.
- By cleansing, I mean gently cleansing your system using a natural digestive cleanse like Herbal Fiberblend. The herb and fiber combo helps to eliminate toxic build up, parasites, and bacteria.
- By building, I refer to replenishing in your body some of the basic building blocks it requires to maintain good health and proper balance. For that I suggest Barley Life and AIMega.
If you think this crawly feeling may be stress related (your nerves), it would be worth trying some Composure
, a natural herbal supplement that helps to relax your nervous system as well as your other basic body systems. It should also help you sleep better.
Finally, if the thought of hormonal issues ring a bell for you (age, cycle irregularities, etc.) then you may want to consider supplementing with Renewed Balance
Sorry, I can't pinpoint it further for you, but that's the best I can offer based on the limited information you have provided. Take a look at the different options and think about your own body and lifestyle circumstances as relates to this crawly feeling. Hopefully, you'll be able to lean in the direction of the best option for you. To your good health!
