Foods That Cause Constipation

foods that cause constipation junk foodThere are foods that cause constipation in a large portion of the population. If you avoid the foods that constipate, you will have a healthier bowel.

It's not just a question of which foods constipate, but also of which foods don't constipate. 99% of the time, if you are eating a healthy diet high in fiber and fresh fruits and vegetables, you will not get constipated.

Most of us don't! We fall into the trap of convenience foods, yummy sweets and desserts, snacks that add no nutritional value whatsoever and drinks that are high in sugar.

It's no wonder that so many people suffer from irregularity and a sluggish bowel. If you continue on following this pattern, you are setting yourself up for some long term serious diseases.

If you are not getting enough healthy fiber in your diet, and don't have the discipline to eat what your body needs, supplement! Add natural fiber to your diet with something like Herbal Fiberblend or Peaches and Cream Fiber.

If you aren't eliminating properly, the built up feces in your colon will rot and become toxic. Your absorption of the nutrients you do eat will be decreased and your health will eventually decline.
