Gritty Dark Colored Burrowing Parasites

by Visitor Question

What are the gritty feeling, dark colored small parasites which burrow into skin and cover themselves with an outer layer?

Answer:

I'm not sure what gritty dark colored burrowing parasites you may be referring to. :)

Are you thinking of scabies? Or Ticks?

When you say, "cover themselves with an outer layer," do you mean an outer layer of your skin or their skin?

That's a hard question to answer without more specifics. Do you have a photo you could add?

Does anyone else have any suggestions regarding this one?

Thanks,
Angie
