Infection Is Driving Me Crazy

I have a strange infection. I don't know which but it has been approximately 1 year. At first there was bad itching on my inner thighs as well as on my private parts. After some time, tiny pox like things started to develop all over my body. Although now every thing has been okay but I still experience itching on my private parts. The itching is mostly bad at the night time and I experience trouble sleeping because of it. I am a 15 year old guy and looking for a solution. Please help me out!! Hi Shiwam, It sounds to me like you have a yeast infection, which is when the yeast (candida albicans) in your body grows out of control and causes the symptoms you are describing of extreme itching and occasional rash. If you are also experiencing itching of the rectum (anus) at night, you could possibly also have other intestinal parasites. Don't worry, though, because you can take care of this problem either way if you take some practical steps. You may want to read the article on candida in men to help you understand more about it. My first suggestion to you is to get some tea tree oil (or eucalyptus oil, garlic oil, oregano oil, clove oil) and apply it to your private parts 2 times per day for at least a week. Also, try not to eat any sugars for a few weeks. Sugar (and carbohydrates) feed the yeast and make it more difficult to get the yeast overgrowth under control. I don't know specifically which products are available in India, but if you can find some probiotics (this is good bacteria) it would be good for you to get some to take a couple of times per day, too. This builds up the good bacteria in your body so it outnumbers the bad bacteria and keeps it from causing you these problems. I hope that you are not yet sexually active, but if you are, you will be passing this on to your partner and getting it again yourself until you both are treated and get it under control. I normally recommend that you use a herbal cleanse like Herbal Fiberblend because it works really well against candida/yeast overgrowth. Unfortunately, Herbal Fiberblend is not available in India. Unless you know someone in the US (or Australia, Canada, UK, etc.) who could purchase it and send it to you, it's not a realistic option. What you could do, though, is read the ingredients on the Herbal Fiberblend page and see if you can find something similar at a local health food store in your region.
