Intestinal Parasites In Humans

Fact or Fiction?

digestive systemAre there really intestinal parasites in humans? Do they actually gorge themselves on our nutrients leaving our immune system weak and compromised?

These are the questions I've asked myself and determined to discover the answers, even if the answers were unpleasant. In fact, they are.

Although many doctors overlook the possibility of a parasitic infection as the root cause of an illness, it has been proven time and again that a vast amount of ailments can be alleviated by purging the body of parasites.

"Dr. Sydney Baker stated at a conference that he didn't know
how he managed to practice medicine before he knew how
to diagnose and treat parasites. He said parasites can contribute
to a wide array of health problems, especially chronic digestive
complaints, along with many other health problems like arthritis, chronic fatigue, as well as problems with memory, anxiety, and depression."
- from Healthy Digestion the Natural Way by Dr. Lindsey Berkson

A parasite is simply an organism that lives off of another "host" organism. We see this in nature as parasites attack plants, animals, and fish. As a result, the host organism suffers and quite often dies.

hookwormIt is not much different in humans. Intestinal parasites may go undetected for weeks, months, or even years. Nevertheless, they can be living in our digestive system, stealing the nutrition meant for our own body, and leaving their own toxic waste behind.

Quite often, people suffer from chronic illnesses that are diagnosed as such digestive problems as irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, candidas, and many others. After treatment of various medicines with no relief or healing, numerous patients were restored to health after finally being checked and treated for intestinal parasites. Amazing!

I know this is hard to believe, but I have even read documented cases of prostate cancer and other cancers being completely gone after getting the digestive system back in good shape.

Two books I encourage you to read are Internal Health - The Key to Eternal Youth & Vitality by Ron Gellatley, N.D. and Healthy Digestion The Natural Way by D. Lindsey Berkson. Both of those books were quite inspirational in the matter of enjoying healthy digestion.

So, my conclusions? Yes, intestinal parasites in humans are not only fact, but are much more common than we have been led to believe. Along with the grace and mercy of the Lord, I have decided to take responsibility for my own health by doing a better job of taking care of my digestive system in the future than I have in the past. I encourage you to do the same.
