Metronidazole

by HK
(Columbia, MO)

Why take Metronidazole for five days?

Hello HK,

Metronidazole (Flagyl) is a synthetic antibiotic that is usually prescribed for five to ten days to treat various forms of bacteria infections.

I presume you were prescribed this treatment for 5 days because of the specific type of bacteria you have been diagnosed with.

I'm not a big fan of prescription drugs because of their negative side effects, but there are times when they seem to be the best option or a last resort.

When it comes to bacteria parasites, I prefer to try natural anti-parasitic options first, like Para 90 and Herbal Fiberblend.

Regardless of whether you use natural treatments or prescription antibiotics like Metronidazole, it's very important that you also take probiotics to replenish the good bacteria in your body.

I can't tell you how many people fail to take this action and suffer the after-effects of a weakened immune system as a result. Get something like Florafood and take it during the five days you are taking the antibiotic as well as for a couple of weeks afterward.

To your good health!
Angie
