Stop Diarrhea With Bismuth?
I started having diarrhea maybe a week ago. I think I ate a taco. I have taken bismuth but it won't go away. I have stomach pain sometimes it's have and than it's watery and it had a discharge in it. Sometimes you can stop diarrhea with bismuth, if it's just a mild case and the cause quickly passes. If the bismuth isn't working, and you are continuing to have stomach pain (probably intestinal pain?), chances are that you still have something (perhaps a parasitic bacteria or some old toxic fecal matter) that still needs to be dislodged or purged. What I have found the most helpful to stop diarrhea is the use of Herbal Fiberblend and Florafood. The Herbal Fiberblend is a combination of antiparasitic herbs and psyllium fiber that cleanses the intestinal tract as it passes through. Many of the herbs also have healing properties, too. I keep HFB on hand at all times for situations just like yours. The Florafood is a combination of probiotics (good bacteria) that helps to replenish the friendly flora in your intestines that you've been losing while you've had the diarrhea. By re-balancing the bacteria, it will also help to eliminate the diarrhea. If you continue to have diarrhea for a long period of time, you may want to consider seeing a doctor to be sure there is nothing more serious wrong with you than a bout of bad food or a parasite.
