Basic Swine Flu Precautions
To Help Keep You And Your Family Safe

swine flu precautions

There are basic swine flu precautions that you can take to help reduce your chances of being caught up in the great swine flu epidemic.

To be honest, most precautions are plain old common sense!

Some people will run right out and get the swine flu vaccine, but I sure won't be one of them!

I have no intention of being a guinea pig for an untested drug that has the potential to be very risky and cause more harm than good.

You probably know that a vaccine, by nature, contains a portion of the virus, among other things.  Is this really what you want to put in your body?

Instead, you might want to consider a healthier alternative.

If you combine the basic rules of good hygiene during the flu season with a little preventive medicine using natural health supplements and immune support, you greatly reduce your chances of being vulnerable to the H1N1 virus.

What are the basic rules that you teach your children and impose upon yourself when you know there's a bug going around?

  • Cover your mouth when you cough.
  • Cover your nose when you sneeze.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water after you've been coughing or sneezing and when you've been out in public. Who knows what you may have picked up?
  • Don't share a drinking cup with anyone else.
  • Try to stay away from people while they are sick as much as possible.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth as much as possible. The mucus membranes are the most susceptible to germs and viruses.

Those common sense habits will go a long way to reducing your chances of being caught up in the H1N1 flu pandemic. But there's other simple swine flu precautions you can take that will lesson your vulnerability even more.

More Swine Flu Precautions...

Keep your immune system strong by supporting your body with good quality natural health supplements. These are some of the basic supplements that I use to help prevent swine flu cases in my family and to promote overall good health.

  • Florafood - Probiotics; the good bacteria that your body needs to fight against invading bacteria. By taking a daily probiotic, particularly during flu season, my immune system has plenty of little soldiers fighting on the side of good health.

  • Antioxidants - Vitamin C with bioflavanoids, and Proancynol 2000, are two of my staples. It's a great combination of tools that your body can use to fight free radicals.

  • Good Quality Daily Vitamins - My husband and I both take a packet of Dr. Whitaker's Forward Plus vitamins each day. Dr. Whitaker has a great combination of vitamins in daily multi packets that make them so convenient and easy to use. My husband (who is not at all into "healthy stuff") swears by his daily packet of Forward Plus. If I forget to order and we run low, I've got a lot of "splainin" to do. :)

  • Whole Food Supplement Powders - Obviously good nutrition is essential when trying to maintain good health and prevent swine flu or any other illness. I admit I have difficulty getting enough good nutrition in my own regular daily diet.

To increase the good nutrition that fuels our cells, my family uses whole food supplement powders made from freshly juiced barley grass, carrots, and beets, spinach, faba bean, and field pea. These supplements are called Leaf Greens and the Garden Trio if you are interested in checking them out for yourself.

Of course, I can't guarantee that you won't get the H1N1 virus if you take these swine flu precautions, but I CAN guarantee that you'll have a whole lot better chance of missing out on "the great swine flu epidemic."

These are all just common sense, everyday steps that anyone can take to improve and maintain good health. The best defense is a good offense. Give your body the tools it needs to build healthy cells and repair damaged cells. Keep your immune system strong, give yourself a yearly digestive cleanse and you'll enjoy the better health and a happier life.
