Using Body Gold Colon Clenz

I bought Body Gold ColonClenz after my mother recommended it to me. I took it in conjunction with Align for one month. It worked very well at first, but now I am constipated again. As I read the label more carefully today, I see the warning not to take ColonClenz for more than 7 consecutive days. I took it for 30 days! I have not been able to reach the company. Is this dangerous? Obviously, I'll stop taking it now, but I'm worried that I've caused damage. Thanks. Hi Jackie, I don't think you really have to worry too much about using Body Gold Colon Clenz for more than the recommended 7 days. I haven't used Body Gold ColonClenz, but I checked out the ingredients and all the ingredients listed are natural herbs. That doesn't mean you can't be hurt by natural ingredients because, of course, you can. The warning may be there because the amounts of some of the herbs may be such that your body becomes dependent upon them for proper bowel function, etc. If you have problems with irregularity, you may be better off using a gentler natural colon cleanser that is safe to use every day for an indefinite period of time. I would recommend Herbal Fiberblend. Herbal Fiberblend can be used in larger doses 1 tsp. - 1 Tbs. 2x per day) for thorough colon cleansing (I like to do an annual 3 month cleanse). It can also be used in smaller amounts (1 tsp. per day) for regular digestive maintenance. It's not likely that you have done any permanent damage to your digestive system by using Body Gold Colon Clenz for a month, but if your constipation is back, you obviously still need some digestive assistance.
