Zit with a bug in it???

Ever heard of a zit with a bug in it?

My teenage daughter has been troubled with painful zits all over her body for a while now. She had a zit pop up on the front of her thigh last Saturday.

She tried to pop it earlier in the week and it just hurt. Nothing came out.

Then she squeezed it this morning. Boy did it pop!

She wiped the pus away and looked at it before she threw the tissue away.

There was a BUG that came out of her skin with the pus!!!

She was really freaked out, as was I.

I didn't see the bug, but she drew a picture of it for me.

What kind of bug could do this? Could it cause other problems?

I honestly don't know what kind of bug would be in this pimple. There are a number of different parasites that you can get under the skin.

Has your daughter been swimming in a lake or some other type of water where she could have been infected?

If she is continuing to get these painful pimples, then I would say that it shouldn't be overlooked. Any time that parasites are left to grow and breed in your system, they do eventually cause further problems.

Consider getting your daughter some anti-parasitic essential oil so that she can apply it to the affected areas. She may even want to put some in her bath water and have a nice soak. Good choices are tea tree oil, Indian neem oil, oregano oil, or garlic oil.

Another good option to try is organic raw apple cider vinegar topically. I like Bragg's brand. Raw apple cider vinegar can also be used in a bath (1-2 cups at a time).

Internally, you should consider some cleansing herbs and some good probiotics. I would suggest Para 90 and Florafood. If these pimples have been a long term problem for your daughter, a three-month cleanse with Herbal Fiberblend would seem appropriate.

This will help kill off parasites internally, flush toxins out of her body, and build up the good bacteria in your daughter's immune system.

Hope this helps and that she is "bug free" and "pimple free" very soon.

Hi Michael,

If I were you I would first clean the pimple area with hydrogen peroxide and then I would apply some clove oil or tea tree oil, or another essential oil that is anti-parasitic if you have it.

This may be a one-off experience and be cleaning the pimple area well, you won't have any further issues.

If you find that you experience any further pimples with bugs/spiders in them, you should then consider an internal cleanse. I use Herbal Fiberblend.

This is full of anti-parasitic herbs that help clean bugs, viruses, and bacteria out of your system.

Hope you have no further troubles with spider like bugs in pimples or sores on your head. If you have more than one, I would take it seriously.

Well I was scratching my head when I felt a bump on my head I have long hair and I popped it a bug that looked like a spider came out I though it was a scab until It started to walk I got scared and I just don't know what to do help

bug in pimple.

I have a pimple that rather hurts on the side of my face. I rarely get them, but this one is big and painful. I popped it last night and a little stuff came out and I went to bed. I woke up completely disgusted and afraid to touch the side of my face! The reason I was afraid was because that night, I had a dream that I popped the pimple again and out came this 3 inch white worm with claws on its face like a scorpion. It was the weirdest dreams I have ever experienced. This morning, the pimple is fine and half the size it was last night. I hope this story makes you laugh. Then again, I only googled the term, " zit with bug in it" because I had a dream, you may be googling it because you had it happen to you...

I am in the same position as you but I had it checked out by a doctor and they said it was a pimple. My husband pulledout 3 small worms out of my shoulder blade.Solid black in color.

I saw a youtube video where a kid went to brazil and came back with a botfly larvea that sounds similar to what you describe, but it was bigger.

He put a thick salve over it with a tight bandage. Later it scabbed up and the bug fell out dead. It wriggled around and was painful at first but then it eventually died.

looks like blackhead, not soft like one tho, won't come out when my boyfriend squeezes it. It's on my right shoulder & I can't get to it.

He has tried numerous times to get it out, he did get a hold of it with tweezers several times, but cannot pull it out, it snaps back into the pore.

He says it has a hole or looks like a hole all down through it; he says it looks like a worm and what he has been able to pull out is all black too.

Doesn't get white under the skin like blackheads do. Blackheads are only black because of air exposure. He thinks it is actually a worm of sorts.

I don't know what to think, but the next time I'm at the doctor I am going to have him take a look. My boyfriend swears it's a worm and has roots or something keeping it in the pore, because it WILL NOT COME OUT!!!

Any ideas on what this might be? PLEASE let me know. It is the diameter of regular big black head and the part he has been able to pull out is only about 1/16th of an inch. But just glancing at the pore, all you see is what looks like a good size blackhead. HELP????
