Inner Health; What's That Bug?
March 08, 2012

Welcome to the Inner Health newsletter from allaboutparasites.com.

What's that bug? I seem to be asked that question quite regularly by visitors to our website, but Surprise! Surprise! I found myself asking that question and struggling to find the answer!

I have a couple of quick announcements before I get into this month's topic of "What's that bug?"

  1. UK Residents: Please note that Herbal Fiberblend will no longer be available in the UK once our current stock runs out. As you may or may not have realized, Herbal Fiberblend contains the herb Cascara Sagrada. Cascara sagrada, in its current formulation in the Herbal Fiberblend (powders and capsules) has become restricted in the UK, and thus will be discontinued in order to comply with UK regulations.

For those of you who have been using Herbal Fiberblend or have been thinking about giving it a try, please get your order in by the end of this month (March 2012) so you can be sure to receive it before it becomes unavailable. Simply fill out the UK Order Form and I'll process it for you asap.

  2. BarleyLife Changes - AIM has changed the size of the Barley Life available for purchase. Instead of the traditional 256gm canisters, there is now going to be two sizes available - a smaller 180gm canister and a larger 360gm family size canister. The prices of BarleyLife have changed to reflect these changes in size, making the family size the cheapest BarleyLife has been per serve in years.

What's That Bug?

whats that bug or rashWhen I read your letters and postings telling me about this itchy unknown rash or that strange bug or fiber coming out of your skin, I feel genuine sympathy for you and often find myself praying for each of you, particularly when you share your horror and despair.

I do my best to encourage each of my visitors to follow a basic protocol that involves cleansing the body internally with anti-parasitic herbs and fiber and boosting the immune system with a healthy diet and nutritional supplements.

...And then it happened! Yep! A few months ago I came down with an unusual, unexplainable, and unknown rash on my back that itched like crazy!

Like you, I was bemused. I began asking myself some questions. Was I having an allergic reaction to something? What have I used or eaten differently? Was I bitten by something? If so, what's that bug and how do I get rid of it?

whats that bug or rashYou're probably going to laugh at what happened next. I spent weeks trying the various natural topical treatments that I suggest throughout the site - organic apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil, etc. I wasn't seeing any improvement. In fact, it seemed to be getting worse.

My husband wasn't "catching" it, and it didn't seem to be anything like scabies, but in spite of that I stooped to even using a little permethrin in sheer desperation. No help whatsoever.

Finally, I said to myself, "If someone wrote in describing this type of situation, what would you tell them?" It was like a big slap on the forehead! You guessed it. I knew immediately that I would tell them they should start cleansing with Herbal Fiberblend and begin boosting their immune system with supportive supplements.

So, that's exactly what I started to do myself! I have NO idea why I didn't do so right from the start. I always keep Herbal Fiberblend on hand, so it isn't even as if I didn't have any or know better. Silly me!

I began using the following supplements that very day:

Within 2 weeks I was well on the road to recovery. The itching had stopped and my mysterious unknown rash was nearly gone!

Although I was using the supporting supplements, I'm convinced that the Herbal Fiberblend is what really tipped me over the edge by cleaning out of my system whatever it was that was causing the mysterious itching - whether allergen, mite, parasite, whatever (I still don't know!).

So, the next time you ask me, "What's that bug?" or "What's this unknown rash?" and want to know what you should do to try to get rid of your own mysterious problem, you can be reasonably sure that I'm going to tell you to try the Herbal Fiberblend, no matter what else you try as well. :) What have you got to lose?

What Do You Think About A Forum?

whats that bug or rashWhen I originally started allaboutparasites.com, it was with the intention of raising awareness about the symptoms of intestinal parasites and fungal overgrowth and how they affect your health.

I also wanted to make more people aware of the benefits of internal cleansing with natural herbs and fiber to keep the body working at its optimal levels.

Before I knew it, I was receiving questions about every kind of parasite and unknown rash, fiber, bug, etc., that people were experiencing from all over the world when they couldn't find answers elsewhere.

I'm sure you can imagine my dismay and feelings of inadequacy, particularly since I'm not an entomologist nor a trained medical professional. I very much want to be a help to people, but I simply don't have all the answers to all the questions that are raised on our site.

As it has turned out, I've still been able to help many of our visitors by simply encouraging them to boost their immune system through dietary changes and good quality nutritional supplements combined with a natural digestive cleanse.

Beyond that, All About Parasites has become a place where people can meet and discuss their personal challenges with others going through a similar situation. For most, the doctor's they've visited have been worse than useless, telling them that their symptoms are all in their head and offering them anti-psychotic drugs.

Someone suggested recently that I add a "parasite forum" to the site, to make it easier for visitors to chat and help each other find workable solutions. I'd be very interested in hearing YOUR thoughts on that possibility and if you think it is something you would use and benefit from joining. Let me know what you think.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Blessings,
Angie
