Effect of ACV on parasites
What is the effect of ACV on parasites?
I have ridged nails, and was told this indicated a problem with parasites. Having lived with cats and dogs all my life, I can easily believe it.
I would like to know if taking ACV in water every day will kill off at least some of the parasites?
Apple Cider Vinegar can have a beneficial effect in eliminating parasites because it helps to lower the pH balance of your body.
Parasites thrive in an acidic environment, so that's why it helps to change the environment. High amounts of sugar, carbohydrates, and processed foods in your diet tend to feed parasites and make the body acidic.
Quite often ridges on fingernails indicate a fungal infection, particularly when they are accompanied by discoloration, but that is not the only cause.
You can develop ridges on your nails as a result of poor nutrition, not drinking enough water, vitamin deficiencies and more.
Using ACV in water is certainly worth trying because it has a ton of other benefits as well, so it certainly won't hurt. You can also try applying organic apple cider vinegar directly to the nail itself a couple of times per day.
If you do think there is a strong possibility that you have internal parasites because of living with pets all your life, your best option for a natural gentle cleanse is Herbal Fiberblend
It may or may not fix your fingernails, but it will definitely help kill off and eliminate any parasites you may be harboring. Don't worry, according to the CDC, most people DO have parasites these days, so you're not alone.
I give myself a regular cleanse with HFB just to stay as healthy as possible.
If your nails are being affected by malabsorption, or poor nutrition, consider adding some whole food supplement powders
to your daily diet. The rich nutrition will boost your immune system.
