- Thomas Edison It seems in this day and age we rush to the doctor for every little thing and take prescription medication like candy. I believe we do ourselves a great disservice. I know that there are good doctors and that doctors are necessary and helpful for many health issues. But I also know that the medical industry can be extremely tainted by pressures and influences from the pharmaceutical industry. God gave us so many things in nature to help heal our bodies in times of illness. He also gave us natural immune builders in good food and herbs. Know what? These gifts from God can't be patented. That means they can't make as much profit as "man-made" medicines.  Do you know that most of the pills you get from the chemist or pharmacy don't actually heal your illness? Usually, they just treat the symptom and mask your real problem. For many people, if they can just get relief from their current suffering, they are grateful. They'll worry about the long term side effects when they occur down the road. Perhaps they hope there will be a new pill to treat that ailment when the time comes. Something as simple as colon detox cleansing can be much more effective than taking a little green pill. You are quite likely to rid yourself of the actual cause of your current ailment with a body detox. Why isn't this shouted from the house tops? Because no one is going to get rich off of the idea, that's why! With all of the parasites, toxins, pollutants, chemicals, pesticides and other rubbish we are exposed to each day, it only makes good sense to engage in a detox diet or one of the other methods of detoxifying the body.
