Do I Have Candida or What?

by Carol

I'm trying to figure out do I have candida or what.

Every time I got a pap test they told me I had a yeast infection. One time I told them to get it tested and it came back negative.

But for 2 1/2 years about 2 times a year I was perscribed antibiotics. The discharge would go away for a day or two but when I would have sex it would come back.

Also when I had sex my outer vagina became really inflamed and swollen.

I smoked for 2 years and quit May 1st. Along with that I totally changed my eating habits, only eat fresh vegetables and fruit a little bit of chicken or hard boiled eggs (all organic) and drink only water and pure cranberry juice.

I also went on a total body detox that started May 1st. One day after my 2 week total body detox I felt like I had to go #2 but instead a huge clump of white dischage came out but did not smell. It felt like it releaved some pressure.

I haven't gotten that since it happened. Is that a yeast infection or am I clearing out all the bad toxins?

My nails have cleared up but I still have athletes foot but only on one foot that also has a planter wart that I recently froze. I don't know if I have candida or what.

I'm really confused with my symptoms. Within the last 3 days I have not eaten any fruit or fruit juices besides pure cranberry. Can you please help me out?

Thank you!

Hi Carol,

It does sound like you do have Candida (yeast infection). Sadly, antibiotics do not get rid of a yeast infection, but only make matters worse! The antibiotics kill off the good bacteria in your system that are absolutely necessary in keeping your immune system
strong enough to fight off the Candida overgrowth.

Your change in diet and lifestyle is an excellent start, but you really need to cut out the fruit and fruit juices (even the 100% pure stuff) for a little while until you get completely over the yeast infection.

Fruits and juices in particular are very high in sugar. Even though they are natural sugars, sugar is one of the biggest culprits when it comes to feeding yeast fungus.

You also need to start taking good quality probiotics. I would recommend Florafood and suggest that you take 2 capsules with each meal for at least a month.

I would also highly recommend that you use a gentle cleanse on a more long term basis (like Herbal Fiberblend) to not only help get the fungus under control, but to help heal your bowel and give your digestive tract the support it needs.

I know you did a 2 week detox, but that doesn't seem to be enough for your condition since you still have the athlete's foot, etc. The Herbal Fiberblend can help to get your system back in balance.

Also, something that is VERY important is that the person you are having sex with also treats themselves for Candida. They need to use the Herbal Fiberblend and Florafood, too. Even if they don't seem to have symptoms, people inevitably pass yeast infections back and forth through sexual intercourse and the infection rages on for a very long time.

It's a simple matter for them to also take the HFB and Florafood, so if they aren't willing to do so, you may need to put your foot down. :-) Otherwise, you'll never get rid of it!

You can order them both here.

Hope this helps you and that you get the relief you need. Let me know if you need any further help.

To your good health!
Angie
