Do parasites inject saliva in human skin?

by April
(Sacramento, California)

I got some kind of insect injecting saliva in my skin. Also my whole body is very tender from this condition.

Hi April,

There are parasites that inject saliva into human skin - like mosquitoes, for instance. Sand flies is another example of insects that inject saliva when biting on their host.

Do you know what kind of insect you are dealing with? Are you being bitten in your house? At the beach?

I'm not sure what your question is. If you are wondering what you can do (apart from getting rid of the bugs), I would suggest that you try to boost your immune system with probiotics and whole food supplements in an effort to relieve the tenderness.
