pH Balance Diet

A good pH Balance Diet can help you get your body pH back on the right track. Eating more foods that promote an alkaline pH will help to improve your health.

An alkaline diet is a diet that emphasizes, to a varying degree, fresh fruit, vegetables, roots and tubers, nuts, and legumes.

This chart gives you an idea of the general acid and alkaline levels of various foods so that you can develop a healthy pH balance diet.

An imbalanced diet high in acidic-producing foods such as animal protein, sugar, caffeine, and processed foods puts pressure on your body. It makes it difficult for your regulating systems to maintain pH neutrality.

The extra buffering this requires can deplete the body of alkaline minerals such as sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium. This makes you much more prone to chronic and degenerative diseases.

Minerals are borrowed from vital organs and bones in the body's effort to buffer (neutralize) the acid and safely remove it from the body. Because of this strain, your body can suffer severe and prolonged damage. This condition may go undetected for years. But there are warning signs or symptoms of pH imbalance.

If you find it difficult to stay on a healthy pH balance diet, you can do what I do and supplement your diet with pH balance powders.

My favorite is the Garden Trio which is three powders made from freshly juiced carrots, beets, and green barley. They make my own busy life a whole lot easier and healthier. I just mix them in a glass of cold water and enjoy them as a mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack.

To your good health!
