Male Yeast Infection Treatment

two men in kayaks male yeast infection treatmentA natural male yeast infection treatment is not a whole lot different than treatment for yeast infections in women.

A yeast infection is the result of an overgrowth of Candida albicans. Candida is a yeast that naturally lives in your body but is kept under control by your friendly bacteria in your intestines.

When something happens to diminish your good bacteria, the Candida takes that opportunity to spread and take over. As a result, you will suffer a variety of candida symptoms.

Typically, the type of things that can set this process in motion are using antibiotics, other drug use, high sugar diets, diabetes, HIV, or other immune suppressing circumstances. Even certain condom spermicides can bring on a yeast infection.

If you get a penis yeast infection that can also be the result of having sexual intercourse with a woman who has a vaginal yeast infection. If that is the case, you need to be sure you both are treated so that you don't keep reinfecting each other.

Male Yeast Infection Treatment Recommendations

If you have a fairly simple and straightforward penile yeast infection you can treat it naturally and quickly by applying tea tree oil or garlic oil to the area twice a day for a week. It may seem like it is gone after the first day, but continue the treatment for the whole week anyway. You want to be sure that the fungus is completely under control.

Some guys have found that using an over the counter cream, like Monostat for vaginal yeast infections in women, works just as well for them. If that is the only thing you have available, that's fine, but I prefer the other two remedies as first choice.

If you suffer from other forms of yeast infection symptoms, here's a basic list of supplements that work together to give you a full candida cure.

A great resource for male yeast infection treatments is Sara & Robert Summer's book
Cure Your Yeast Infection
The All-Natural Way
.
It includes natural remedies for diaper rash, thrush, and infections of the skin, throat, mouth, nails, vagina, and penis. Order it Here!

Even if you 'only' have a penile yeast infection, it would still be a good idea to incorporate some of these supplements into your daily routine for a few weeks to help build up your immune system so you won't have a recurrence of your infection.

Finally, depending on the severity of your infection, you may want to consider a candida cleanse diet. I know you don't want to change your diet. We'd all rather just take a pill and be done with it. If you're really suffering from systemic candida, an anti candida diet will make a huge difference in whether or not you can beat it.

To your good health!
