Blood Parasites

by Maria
(Dayton, Ohio)

Hi,

I am suspecting blood parasites because of crawling feeling under my scalp at night, itchy nose and occasional nausea as well as cold feet.

My doctor tells me there is no blood test to test me for blood parasites. I took one bottle of Paragone and felt good for one week until I missed one dose and I am worse now.

I finished 15 day. I have Candida overgrowth as well, because I have white tongue for the last year and feel better after taking Probiotics.

My husband and I tried pretty much everything until now for Candida and it doesn't go away.

What can you recommend to help me?
Thank you.

Hi Maria,

I can't say for sure whether or not you have "blood parasites" but if you have a severe case of Candida, it can certainly effect your blood and cause a whole range of problems as you've described. Of course, there are other parasites that also cause similar symptoms.

If you have been battling Candida for a year without success, then the chances are that you do have a severe yeast infection.

One of the things people sometimes don't realize about yeast infections is that they can be easily passed back and forth between husband and wife through intimate relations. For this reason, BOTH need to treat themselves for Candida at the same time in order to break the cycle.

You've probably learned a bit about the fungus in your efforts to get it under control. We all have Candida in our body, usually in controlled amounts. When the immune system is compromised, that's when the fungus begins to grow out of control and start causing candida symptoms.

There are some basic principles that apply when dealing with a Candida overgrowth. The first one is to STOP FEEDING THE FUNGUS. :) Sounds strange, I know, but Candida albicans loves sugar and other yeast feeding foods.

You really need to cut way back on your sugar intake for a bit. That includes fruits, juices, etc. Moldy foods (foods with yeast or mold like breads, cheese, pickles, etc.) should be avoided for a while too. There are some basic candida diet guidelines as well as an anti candida diet to give you some tips and help.

The other side of the coin is to take natural supplements that are anti-fungal and anti-parasitic to help kill off the fungus that has grown and spread through your body.

You mentioned taking Paragone. I haven't used that particular supplement, but from what I've read about it, it seems to have good foundational cleansing herbs. It may be that you just didn't stay on it long enough.

Personally, I recommend a specific set of supplements for dealing with Candida successfully. It may seem like a lot to do, but it is certainly worth getting rid of the problem once and for all.

For cleansing -

Herbal Fiberblend - Mix with water
2x per day for 3 months. This will give your entire digestive tract a thorough but healthy cleanse. Many people pass a variety of parasitic worms while using this colon cleanse. Special note: Be sure to take the Herbal Fiberblend on its own at least one hour away from any other supplements so that you don't "cleanse away" all the benefit of the other things you are taking. ;)

In some persistent cases, I recommend Para 90 capsules which have an additional set of antiparasitic herbs to be taken for one month. It isn't always necessary, because the Herbal Fiberblend usually does the job. If you want to speed up the process, though, it's something to consider.

Bear Paw Garlic - a particular species of wild garlic that is stronger and more effective than the usual over the counter variety. Garlic is anti-fungal in nature and will help to kill off the yeast infection.

For Building -

It's not good enough to just try to kill off the growing fungus. You also need to help strengthen your immune system so that it will be able to keep the remaining Candida albicans in check as it should.

You said you were taking some probiotics. That is good. I use Florafood which is a combination of three different probiotics in one. Just be sure you are taking a good quality probiotic, and take it twice per day at least (3 times is even better).

Eventually, you can drop down to 1 capsule per day for maintenance until you are absolutely certain your immune system is built back up and you are feeling completely healthy. These good bacteria in the probiotics are like your own personal little army of soldiers to keep the bad bacteria under control.

Finally, add a green whole food supplement to your diet. I would suggest either Barley Life or Leaf Greens. They are both very good quality and rich in nutrition that your body and immune system need to produce healthy cells and renew your inner strength.

If you have a green whole food supplement that you prefer, that's fine, just be sure that it is made from freshly juiced greens that have been dried, rather than the greens that are simply dried and chopped up into a powder.

There's a huge difference in the nutritional value. Your body can absorb much more of the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients from juiced greens than it can from the chopped greens because it doesn't have to deal with processing all the fiber.

From one "Buckeye" to another, I hope you and your husband are able to tackle this regime together and get these blood parasites, or yeast infection, or whatever it truly is cared for so that you both feel great again. If I can be of any further help, please let me know.

To your good health!
Angie

blood parasites NEW
by: bob bolyardAnonymous

I am currently going through treatment for, blood parasites and candida. There is a test for blood parasites. it is called dark screen microscopy. i have been to 4 naturpaths, i have had 3 dark screen tests and you can clearly see the parasites along with the candida. Most doctors do not want to deal with parasites because they think we don't have them in the US. So far i have had over 70000 milligrams of Vitamin Calong with hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide. I also take an antiparasitic medicine from Canada because it is super expensive in the US. I take Lamotian drops, clarkia drops euchenacia drops along with amino acids, vitamin d omega 3 mimosa and chlorella. I get iv treatment 2 to 3 times each week. My symptoms were itching 24 hours per day after i started the treatments, i developed a rash from ankle to neck because the parasites are screaming. The diet my wife and i are on is absolutely horrible, but so is the itching. Sleep comes with the help of atavan and ambien because the itch so terrible. I have always been a big candy and fruit eater, so the sugars have made the candida much worse. Yes there is a test, you just have to talk to the right people. Good luck
